Charlotte Motorcycle Crash Leaves One Dead

One person has tragically lost their life in a motorcycle accident in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 2:15 AM PDT on Wednesday, April 20, 2023, on the ramp from I-85.

According to WBTV, the motorcycle apparently ran off the ramp and crashed. Emergency responders arrived on the scene, but the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The roadway was closed for several hours following the crash. As of 8:19 AM EDT on April 20, 2023, the roadway has been reopened to traffic.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating the accident. No further information has been released at this time.
